In this issue: 5S 4th step: Seiketsu - Standardize the first 3S's

After Seiri, Seiton and Seiso, we talk this week about Seiketsu (standardize), or defining the standards by which personnel must maintain and measure the first 3S's.

3S duties must become regular work routines, which need to be standardized, and which are required company-wide.

When employees are involved in developing the standards, they will be more motivated to maintain the standards.
